Chocolate Switches - the Innovative Design from Epomaker

After studying the designs and flaws of most typical mechanical switches, we have developed our innovative switch mechanism. Our new and improved switch design helps reduce the physical wear on the switches while providing a smooth typing experience.

More Possibilities with Chocolate 5-pin Switches

Chocolate mechanical switches are made with 5 pins at the bottom. They can be installed on a PCB directly, without unsteady tilting, or on a plate above the PCB. This greatly adds more possibilities for users who are enthusiastic with customizing their own mechanical keyboards.

Compatible with MX Structure Keycaps

Chocolate switches are designed with general MX structure so that they can fit most keycaps sets with (X) cross stem. This feature greatly improves the compatibility and you can feel free to change the switch and remake your own keyboard.

Built-in LED Slot & Durable Lifespan

Chocolate switches are equipped with north-facing LED slot for LED modification. It is also compatible with SMD LED. This provides more fun feature and options for those who are DIYers. With a lifespan of approximate 80 million times of keystrokes based on a laboratory durability test, you may rest assured with the long lifespan.

Chose The Type Based On Your Needs

The Chocolate mechanical switches are designed with different configurations for various demand. Chocolate mechanical red/silver Switch comes with 50gf end force. With 4.4mm total travel, they are better for gamers; regarding Chocolate mechanical brown/blue switches, they are tactile with heavy end force of 60gf and 4.0mm total travel, so you can fully feel the pleasure of typing and gaming.

    Carter G. ★★★★★

Swapped these into my board last week and the tactile bump is so smooth it barely makes a sound compared to my old switches. The innovative mechanism really does feel different from the standard designs I've tried.

    Lily U. ★★★★★

The tactile bump on these is way more pronounced than the browns I was using before, and the spring weight feels just right for long typing sessions. I've been using them daily for a couple weeks now with zero wobble or scratchiness.

    Julian H. ★★★★★

Swapped these into my board last week and the tactile mechanism feels smoother than the standard switches I was running before. The bump is subtle enough for typing but still noticeable when gaming. No wobble on the stems either.
